We will be having another Fun Day on 31 August to raise funds for Oakwood Rescue. Gill and the staff have done a super job this year and found lovely homes for many lucky dogs . Please could you help them to continue to help dogs in need (it really is the last chance for most of them)
Could you maybe help out generally on the day, run a stall, make tea/coffee, donate items, make something to sell on our cake and bun stall etc, etc? Any help would be much appreciated and will allow this good work to continue.
As you may know - I have been the lucky recipient of one of the rescue dogs. Although she was not one of the 'last chance dogs' she did need a loving home, and she's certainly got one with us, plus the company of two other canine companions to wreak havoc with!!

I work for one of the big companies in hull so if you have a flyer or anything to advertise the day i can get it published on our portal. it may get a few extra people down for the day and raise some awareness!

I also have a bunch of very keen children who live near me and love dogs who could probably be ropped into helping on stalls etc!

Had a great time at the fun dog show yesterday, weather stayed great and saw lots of new faces
Well done to all and looking forward to the next one
Even the 3 boys were worn out when we got home and slept all evening and night lol
